CHASEstretch™ — 2X Stretch Denim That Moves With You.
Standard denim doesn't stretch enough. Stretchy leggings don't look like jeans. CHASEstretch™ is built for the middle ground — real denim, real look, with twice the stretch you would normally expect.
What Is CHASEstretch™?
CHASEstretch™ is Miss Chase's proprietary stretch denim technology. It uses 2-way stretch fabric with a minimum of 2% elastane — enough to give the fabric meaningful give across the body without losing the structure and appearance of proper denim.
Power Stretch variants go to 3% elastane — maximum flexibility for fits where the fabric needs to work hardest: skinny fits, high-rise styles, and designs cut closer to the body.

What Does 2X Stretch Mean in Practice?
It means the fabric gives in two directions — across the body and vertically. When you bend, sit, squat, or move, the denim moves with you instead of pulling or restricting. When you stand up, it returns to its original shape.
- No tight feeling across the thighs when you sit down
- No pulling at the knees when you walk up stairs
- No restriction at the waist when you lean forward
- No bagging out at the seat or knees by afternoon
CHASEstretch™ vs Power Stretch — What Is the Difference?
CHASEstretch™ — 2%+ Elastane
The standard tier. Significant stretch in both directions while still feeling like real denim. Suitable for most fits — bootcut, wide-leg, straight, relaxed, and mid-rise styles. The right choice for women who want freedom of movement without the fabric feeling like a stretch material.
Power Stretch — 3% Elastane
Maximum stretch. Used in skinny fits and high-rise styles where the fabric works hardest. More flexibility than standard CHASEstretch™. Feels slightly more stretch-forward — the trade-off for the greatest range of movement.
Why Does Elastane Percentage Matter?
Elastane (also called spandex or lycra) is what gives denim its stretch. Standard jeans have 1% or less — they feel stiff and restrictive. At 2%, the difference is immediately noticeable: the denim bends with your body. At 3%, the fabric moves almost like a second skin while still holding its shape and looking like proper denim.
Who Is CHASEstretch™ For?
- Women who find regular jeans too stiff or restrictive
- Women who are between standard sizes and need the fabric to adapt
- Plus-size women — where stretch and recovery are critical to fit and all-day comfort
- Anyone who spends long days in jeans and needs them to stay comfortable
CHASEstretch™ is a core technology in both Miss Chase (sizes 24–38) and Miss Chase A+ (sizes 24–44).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the jeans stretch out and lose shape over time?
CHASEstretch™ fabrics are built with recovery — they return to their original shape after stretching. To preserve the elastane and extend the stretch life of the jeans, cold wash and air dry.
Is CHASEstretch™ available in plus sizes?
Yes. CHASEstretch™ is a core feature across Miss Chase A+ (sizes 24–44), where stretch and shape recovery are particularly important for comfort and fit.
Can CHASEstretch™ and CHASEshape™ be in the same pair of jeans?
Yes — many Miss Chase styles combine both technologies. CHASEstretch™ gives the fabric its flexibility. CHASEshape™ adds the internal tummy shaping panel. Together they give you a jean that moves with you and supports you at the same time.
What exactly is Power Stretch?
Power Stretch is the higher-elastane tier of CHASEstretch™. At 3% elastane instead of 2%, it delivers maximum stretch and is used in skinny fits and styles designed to fit close to the body.
