What is CHASEstretch™?

CHASEstretch™ is Miss Chase's proprietary stretch denim technology. It uses 2-way stretch fabric with a minimum of 2% elastane — giving the denim genuine flexibility in both directions. The fabric moves with your body when you walk, sit, or bend, then returns to its original shape without bagging out.

How is CHASEstretch™ different from regular stretch denim?

Most stretch denim has 1% elastane or less — enough to feel slightly less stiff than rigid denim, but not enough to make a meaningful difference. CHASEstretch™ uses a minimum of 2%, which is where stretch becomes genuinely useful: the fabric adapts to your body rather than restricting it. The difference is immediately noticeable.

What is the difference between CHASEstretch™ and Power Stretch?

CHASEstretch™ is the standard tier — 2%+ elastane, 2-way stretch. Power Stretch uses 3% elastane and is used in skinny fits where the fabric works hardest. Power Stretch gives maximum flexibility; CHASEstretch™ gives a more denim-like hand feel.

Will CHASEstretch™ jeans bag out during the day?

No, not with proper care. CHASEstretch™ fabrics are built with strong recovery — the elastane springs back to its original shape after stretching. Cold washing and air drying extend the stretch life of every pair.

Is CHASEstretch™ available in plus sizes?

Yes. CHASEstretch™ is a core feature across Miss Chase A+ (sizes 24–44), where stretch and shape recovery are particularly important for fit and all-day comfort in plus-size styles.

Can CHASEstretch™ and CHASEshape™ be in the same pair of jeans?

Yes — many Miss Chase styles combine both. CHASEstretch™ gives the fabric its flexibility and movement. CHASEshape™ adds the internal tummy shaping panel. Together they give you a jean that moves with your body and shapes your silhouette at the same time.
